SECRET DRUM BAND



Secret drum band is a percussion and electronic ensemble based between New York and Portland, OR.
Co-directed by composers Lisa Schonberg and Allan Wilson (chk chk chk); founded in 2006 in Olympia, WA.

                           

Secret Drum Band members have included Schonberg, Wilson, Heather Treadway (Explode into Colors), Sara Lund (Unwound), Zanny Geffel (The Cabin Project), Leah Bowden (Baby Bushka), Pieter Hilton (Typhoon), Ali Clarys, Brian Mumford (Dragging an Ox Through Water), Sam Humans, Marcus Fisher, Seth Lorinczi, Sean Sumler, Ben Tyler, Susan Lucia, Grayson Fiske, sts, Rachel Blumberg, Marisa Anderson, Tara Jane O’neil, Niles Armstrong, Clea Partridge, Vittoria Burattini, Trina Shaghafi, and Shannon Steele. Rehearsal players have included Katherine Paul (Black Belt Eagle Scout) and Papi Fimbres (every band), and album players have included Jose Medeles (Revival/1939 Ensemble) & Aaron Hartman (Old Time Relijun).
