LAND LAB
With Prof. Michael Geffel
at the University of Oregon, Department of Landscape Architecture
The Fuller Initiative Land Lab is an area of riparian and wetlands ecosystems on the banks of the Willamette in Eugene, Oregon on the University of Oregon campus.
I have been collaborating with Prof. Geffel and his students for the past two years on sound projects at the Land Lab.
In these projects, we incorporated elements of interactive multimedia and listening into the landscape architecture design, both in the development of and public presentation of the work. Listening and soundscape became important factors in the students'understanding of landscape and restorative design.
